Answer
My question to you is why would he want to do anything to your cup of coffee? Do you have a legitimate concern he would do that or is your question based on your prejudice of anyone with a disease?

The HIV Virus doesn't show up immediately anyway so wait a while then go have yourself tested. Then when it comes back negative wait a little while longer then test again. Then go have yourself tested every year to make sure( if you can't sense the sarcasm then you really are ignorant).

Problem isn't that he has the virus it's with you thinking he's contagious just by being around you.

Anything is possible. We don't know the circumstances or your relationship with this person. You could get HIV from blood, for sure, and maybe from saliva/mucus, but probably not from pee. I would ask the person straight away if he has HIV or AIDS, and if he says yes, get away from there and never come back, pronto. I'd see a doctor and tell your story to him, and then I'd call your now ex-boss and tell him the story.

Not feeling well is a symptom of aids... You've got HIV. Sorry to break it to you.

First of all you need to stop listening to what is possibly idle gossip and find out exactly for yourself. Regardless of his skin colour has he ever given your reason for your to suspect he has done something malicious towards you?
I suggest you get on with the job you are paid to do to the best of your ability and make your life easier by trying to get along with your colleague's regardless of their medical condition, race or background.
If he does have AIDS it doesn't mean he is HIV positive, and I am sure if he does he is going through a living hell and the last thing he needs is nasty comments being posted on the internet about him or any bad feeling at work.
I suggest you read up and learn about the AIDS virus before making any judgment.

After reading your question to find out about the questions you've asked and answered or your age so that I could try to understand a female of what age would be asking this in today's age. I was really surprised to find out that everything about you is private and therefore not listed. Since I find your question offensive after losing a very close friend to this terrible disease and leaving a wife and kids behind I find the only answer I can give is to look them up on wikipedia, or google them. You'll even find that this disease has it's own website too. Good luck and God Bless

Please understand that AIDS comes from a virus. Your body is very capable of getting rid of this virus if you have a good immune system. It normally takes a few exposures for you to get the virus as a general rule. The biggest problems with AIDS are found in areas of the world where the people have very weak immune systems and cannot fight the virus. Drug users, poor diet, and things like that are the biggest problem with this virus.

Concentrate on making your immune system strong.

good luck to you

I take it you're not happy with the responses that you've already received to this question? What's the point in re-asking it if you're not going to take the advice?

Be assured, you have absolutely nothing to fear ... unless you're having sex with the man too, or you're 'French kissing' and exchanging massive amounts of saliva, or he's injecting you with a syringe he's just used on himself.

Why would you think that this man is purposely giving you piss or blood in your coffee? I think this says more about your own prejudices than it does of what this man MIGHT, or might not, be doing.

yes he wantonly committed what amounts to manslaughter, for kicks. And you've gotten aids symptoms with in what? a few days?

I guess that's what you get for getting your co-worker a cup of coffee.

A hole.

I really don't think he'd be sick enough to do anything like that but if you really are worried, get yourself checked out. If you do have AIDS and it was him who gave them to you, tell the police. And then hurt him! >D

Yeah, just make sure you get yourself checked out if you're worried. It's better to be safe than sorry. (=
