Chlamydia, Azithromycin, Unprotected Sex 24hrs later. Need HELP!?

okay my boyfriend and I were both diagnosed with chlamydia last friday. we both received treatment this monday (1000 mg of zithromax aka azithromycin) at the same and took all the four pills the doc gave to us. on tuesday night we ended up having unprotected sex (i know- stupid!) with each other. i was wondering if the meds we took a day before the unprotected sex will still work and cure us? or will we have to wait and go to the doc and get treated all over again? the "incident" was only a little over 24 hrs after treatment....

Helper 		Don't do that anymore. Use a condom. The doctor will retest you in 4-6 weeks to make sure that the treatment worked. You won't know the answer before then. You are probably okay and the antibiotic will kill whatever extra germs you exposed yourself to.

answergal 		I had a question kinda similar to this but rather than me and my partner both having chlamydia, only i do.... and we had unprotected sex (also like above, stupid i knowww), but I took the treatment tuesday, and had unprotected sex thursday night. so the question is.. is it possible for my partner to have contracted chlamydia or did the meds already have its affect and prevent it???
